Pembe Tokluhan is a multi-award-winning backstage creative, production manager, stage manager and public speaker with over 10 years of experience working across live events, theatre, music, festivals and touring.
Having started her career in live audio, Pembe has gone on to deliver projects across stage management, production management, tour management and event operations, working with world-renowned artists, organisations and venues. Her expertise spans live production, project delivery, team leadership, operations, artist liaison, logistics and event management.
Alongside her production work, Pembe is a passionate advocate for representation and access within the creative industries. She regularly delivers talks, workshops and mentoring programmes, sharing her experiences and helping the next generation of talent build careers backstage.
Pembe is the Founder and CEO of PETOK PRODUCTIONS, a global network connecting, supporting and creating opportunities for women, trans and non-binary people working backstage. She is also the co-founder of Generation Uncovered, a grassroots creative initiative supporting young people pursuing careers in the arts and creative industries.
Through her work, Pembe is committed to breaking down barriers, creating opportunities and building a more inclusive future for the backstage workforce.
